The municipal institution "Regional Center for Integrated Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities"
of the Chernihiv Regional Council was opened in 2006 on the basis of the non-governmental non-profit Health Center "Revival",
which has provided rehabilitation services to children of the city of Chernihiv since 1996.
Today, at the same time, there is a complex with a common rehabilitation base, the capacity of which allows to provide rehabilitation services to 275 children daily. In addition, this integrated model of integration of the efforts of both state and non-state institutions provides an opportunity to optimize human resources, expand resources to improve the rehabilitation work of children with disabilities and children at risk of disability
Chernihiv and non-native children with indications for rehabilitation receive a non-governmental non-profit Health Care Center “Revival Center for Integrated Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities”. Children from the region are served by the Municipal Institution "Regional Center for Integrated Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities" of the Chernihiv Regional Council - a rehabilitation institution of the Ministry of Social Policy and Social Protection Bodies.
The rehab process is based on the Tandem - Partnership model approved by the World Health Organization, early intervention programs, and the concept of social pediatrics.
The purpose of the Center is to implement a set of rehabilitation measures aimed at preventing and correcting disabilities of a child with a disability, a child whose condition is at risk of disability, teaching her basic social and household skills, developing abilities, creating prerequisites for integration into society.
