On July 23, the regional center Revival was visited by a Japanese delegation. A private entrepreneur, the owner of the «Collar» company, Yuri Sinitsa,

with the assistance of whom the Canis Therapy technique has been introduced in the Center since 2011, invited his business partners from Japan to visit the Center and get acquainted with the areas of rehabilitation provided to children with disabilities. Especially they were interested in the technique of working with a dog.

After getting acquainted with the work of the Center during the excursion, guests were impressed by the level of services provided. In their letter they expressed their sincere gratitude for the visit and highly appreciated the Center's activities, which we are very proud of.

Let me express my heartfelt appreciation for the reception we have received during the visit of the delegation of the group of Japanese companies Jun'yo kai (Dear Children) of the Chernigov Regional Center for the Social Rehabilitation of Disabled Children "Revival" on July 23 this year.
Thanks to your efforts, the delegation was able to get acquainted with the work of the unique center of comprehensive assistance to children with disabilities in Ukraine, to find out about the directions of work of its specialists.
Due to the fact that our delegation was in Ukraine at the invitation of Collar, a company engaged in the production of shells for dogs, with which we are actively cooperating, we were particularly interested in the use of dogs for the treatment of children of the Center. It is known that canis therapy has a positive effect on the psyche and physical development of a person. This technique is used in some nursing homes in Japan and has positive results in working with older people. The delegation included a cynologist, who was particularly interested in the forms of work used by cynologists - canine therapists in working with children with disabilities.
Having got acquainted with the work of the Chernihiv Center for Rehabilitation, we saw an example of quality assistance to children with disabilities and their parents, and regretted that despite the similarity of the social problems of our countries, the modern equipment and methods of rehabilitation used in this Center will not be found in Japan. In conclusion, we once again thank you for the opportunity to visit the Chernihiv Regional Center for Rehabilitation and look forward to further cooperation.
