The incredibly positive and talented actors of the theatre studio from the NGO Parents’ Voice presented their new performance, The Land of Merezhyna, to the children at the “Revival” Centre.

What makes this theatre so special is that all the actors are young people with disabilities, while the authors, directors, set designers, sound technicians, costume makers, and makeup artists are their parents and volunteers.

The play’s characters vividly, passionately, and convincingly portrayed how kindness and friendship triumph over evil. The dynamic performances, choreography, stunning costumes, creative makeup, and artistic techniques were so engaging that the applause seemed endless.

We are sincerely grateful to Oksana Doroshenko and her team for developing a creative space for young people with disabilities and meeting their need for social interaction.

This kind of creativity not only allows children and youth with disabilities to express their talents but also highlights the importance of inclusive art!
