"World Cleanup Day 2023"
The staff of the regional centre "Revival" actively participated in the action "World Cleanup Day 2023", which took place on September 16 under the slogan: "Let the sky be peaceful and Ukraine clean!".
More than 190 countries of the world take part in this promotion every year. The main goal is the formation of a culture of cleanliness, proper waste management and responsible consumption of resources among citizens, joining efforts for the sake of an ecological future. Employees, as well as children - visitors of the Centre were involved in the participation. The format of their activities was diverse:
- collective cleaning of the premises, rehabilitation rooms, adjacent territory, children's playground of the regional centre "Revival";
- digital cleaning, which involved removing excess information from your gadgets, cloud storage, electronic and Internet resources, which will allow you to unload the database centers, which require a huge amount of energy to support, this cleaning will reduce the amount of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere;
- activities and classes with children regarding the sorting of secondary raw materials and submission for processing, or giving such things a "second life", including with the use of modern 3-D technologies;
- teach children environmental awareness, to take care of their health, the health of our younger brothers;
- together with the children, they arranged the cleaning of garden beds, flower beds, landscaping.
The World Cleanup Day was held in compliance with the prohibitions and restrictions that apply during the war. We thank each participant who contributed to the preservation of the environment of Ukraine and the world.
