The First Step into School Life
The last days of August at the "Revival" Center are always filled with a uniquely exciting atmosphere. It is during these days that the centre’s team sends off children to their first year of school.
This year, 15 children undergoing rehabilitation will become first-year students for the first time. This is an important result of the coordinated work of the entire interdisciplinary team of specialists, other staff members, and the children’s parents, who daily strive to improve the children’s health, develop their abilities and potential, shape their behavior and communication models, and build independence skills. In short, they teach the children, step by step, to explore the world around them and understand their place in it.
On August 23, the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, we congratulated the future first-year students in a festively decorated hall. Dressed up and in high spirits, the children received congratulations from friends and adults. The parents of the first-year students were especially emotional, with smiles and hopes for a happy future for their children. A festive concert, games, and joyful surprises from "Dvoika" (poor) and "Dvanadtsiatka" ( excellent ), who came to check the children’s readiness for school, made this day special. We hope that the emotions of this day will remain in the memories of the children and parents for a lifetime.
After the concert, all the first-year students received school backpacks and stationery as gifts. The children and their parents are sincerely grateful for these gifts to our English friends and benefactors from the organizations "Felsted Aid for Deprived Children,"
"TEECH," and others who consistently ensure that the children receive wonderful gifts on this day.
Special thanks go to VIVAT company, particularly to Ms. Olena Smushchenko, for providing the backpacks,
and to the "Wings of the Country" Charitable Foundation, who added beautiful rubber boots and children’s Crocs to the gifts.
Director Vasyl Pasichnyk warmly congratulated everyone present and wished that the first year would open new horizons of knowledge, that teachers would be inspired by the children’s successes, and that parents would feel proud! And let’s not forget those who defend our country so that the little citizens can live on their native land, in their families, with faith in peace and a happy future.
