Today, on June 1, the children of the Revival Center took part in the bright action "Shine smiles, warmed by the sun!", Dedicated to the International holiday - Children's Day.

The event was held in the open air, on the sun-drenched playground of the regional center. It was attended by about 80 children who are currently undergoing rehabilitation at the center.

At the beginning of the holiday, children were greeted by high-size dolls - the characters of children's favorite cartoons - Luntik and SpongeBob. During the celebration, they created a joyful mood for children, had fun, supported, played, danced, and took part in competitions.

The holiday traditionally began with a drawing competition on the asphalt. This year's theme of the competition is "Rainbow Childhood". In bright, colorful colors, children depicted the sun, flowers, and parents with them. Children's works are sincere and touching, full of dreams of a happy future, without wars and diseases, of a loving and caring family, good and faithful friends.

Oleg Rusin, Director of the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, came to greet the child. In his welcoming speech, he noted that caring for children, who are the future of Ukraine - the main responsibility of parents, society and the state. Wishing everyone happiness, a clear and peaceful sky, Oleg Vladimirovich congratulated the staff of the Center. He noted the work of the team and presented diplomas from the Department of Social Protection of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration to: music teacher Evdokimova Kateryna Volodymyrivna and pediatric neurologist Sulimenko Inna Viktorivna, who have been working with children at the Revival Center for almost 25 years, teaching them the necessary life skills, giving treatment.

The holiday of childhood continued with the festive concert "Let the children smile at the sun and flowers". Cheerful and bright performances prepared by children gave the audience positive emotions and high spirits.

The real highlight of the concert was the song "MOTHER'S SHIRT" performed by teachers and mothers of children attending the Department of Early and Social Rehabilitation. Beautifully dressed in colorful embroidered shirts, they touched the audience with the tenderness and sincerity of the song and dance together.

Summer is a great time to improve your health and to exercise. Luntik and SpongeBob invited the children to continue the holiday on the sports field. The live train created by teachers took children to specially prepared locations, where they were waiting for fun relay races and competitions organized by physical education instructors. Thoughtfully prepared  games by the specialists of the center, taking into account the capabilities of children, helped to involve each child in joint activities.

At the end of the celebration, Luntik and SpongeBob blew up a lot of soap bubbles, which led the children to complete delight. After the holiday, each child received nice gifts from English friends and VIVAT Company.
