On December 6, representatives of the Republic of Latvia, led by the head of the Ogre Regional Duma, Egils Helmanis, visited the regional centre "Revival". The Latvian delegation included social affairs advisor Dace Liva, head of the social service of the city of Ogre Sarmite Ozolina, as well as a team of volunteers who once again brought aid for the military.

Together with Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Dmytro Blaush, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Protection of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Dmytro Kozlov, Head of the Department of International Events of the Chernihiv Collegium National University named after T.G. Shevchenko and Boris Atroshchenko, the European guests congratulated the children with sweets on St. Nicholas Day.

The children gave the audience an unforgettable, bright concert with great pleasure, demonstrating their successes and skills acquired during the rehabilitation courses. Dancing, singing, playing children's musical instruments, positive mood, smiles, memorable souvenirs made by children with special diligence touched the audience.

Of course, St. Nicholas "brought" each child a gift, of which English benefactors and centre workers took care in advance. After the festive part, the guests of honor got acquainted with the activities of the "Revival" Centre .

After all, the visit was planned as part of borrowing best practices and sharing experience to create a similar rehabilitation centre in the city of Ogre (Latvia).

The guests inspected offices and premises where complex rehabilitation services are provided for children with disabilities, visited the palliative department, hydroblock.

The Latvian guests were impressed by the institution's powerful and modern material and technical base and the dedication of its specialists.

We hope that such meetings will help better promote the unification of our cities, find new opportunities to help children with disabilities, people with life limitations! We are sincerely grateful to the caring citizens of the Republic of Latvia for their support and faith in our indomitability!
